I'm interested in floating the sol duc from hwy 101 to leyendecker in my 8' pontoon boat. Does anyone know of any obstructions or sections that may pose a potential boating risk?. What i hope to find is a map the shows.
Should i be using a floating line, just let it sit? Any input on floating it at this level? Is this section of the river suited to that boat?
From what i've managed to dig up so far is it's about 15 miles and there is a campground about the 10 mile mark. I fished the river once years ago but have never floated it. Ok, so i'm a bit lost when it comes to fishing emerger patterns and nymphs in still water.
